I'm Mrs. Bria Nathan
I have been teaching children since 2005. Throughout my career I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, a Masters Degree in Education, and have cleared my California Multi-Subject Teaching Credential.
Substitute Teaching helped me hone my classroom management skills. Working with Special Day Class students reminded me the importance of movement and tapping into multiple intelligences. Working with infants through high school students has given me a great reference to see where my students are coming from (developmentally) and where they are headed.
By utilizing the resources available I incorporate technology whenever possible. I also attend CUE (Computer Using Educators) Technology Conferences whenever possible, keeping ideas fresh and stimulating.
I have found my home, teaching at a small school in the Santa Cruz mountains. I teach to the curiosity of my class and they feed off the enthusiasm I express.
